Our lab is working on developing in vitro models for HIV latent infection. For this purpose we isolate PBMC from healthy donors and purify CD4 T cells, which are then infected and cultured for a long time until infection becomes latent. For this purpose we routinely purify human CD4 cells from human PBMC. Given the price of this product compared to our usual supplier, we tested the BioLegend beads.
