Our lab is interested in PLA2-IIa and its role as a anti-bacterial reagent. We wanted to test its levels in the oral epithelium (keratinocytes). We chose this antibody because it has been published by Pernet E et al. Pseudomonas aeruginosa eradicates Staphylococcus aureus by manipulating the host immunity. Nat Commun 5:5105 (2014).
