IRDye® 680LT Goat anti-Mouse IgG (H + L)

Catalog Number:

925-68020

This secondary provides great results for western blot visualization using the LI-COR western blot imaging technology. The secondary can be used at a very low concentration which can be easily optimized for any blotting condition. Compared to other secondaries, the 680LT flurophores have very little to no background.

Results Summary

Results are from mouse brain homogenates. Lower bands are actin, light upper bands are our protein of interest using a primary antibody from rabbit. Easy to use secondary antibodies with the same fluorphore on the same blot when probing with primaries from different species. Very decent signal with little to no background.

Summary

The Good

Easy to use, easy to optimize, low antibody concentration necessary, no background

The Bad

Can only be used with the LI-COR western blot imaging technology

The Bottom Line

If you're using the LI-COR western blot imaging technology, this antibody is the most ideal for imaging your blots. Far superior than antibodies conjugated to other fluorophores.
