Most experiments done in our lab involve flow cytometry. In all of these experiments we use a live dead cell stain to allow us to gate on live cells before any subsequent gating to achieve cleaner FACS lots which make our analysis easier. We use this fixable live dead stain in experiment where permeabilization of cells is necessary for staining of intracellular proteins.
Flow Cytometry
Human CD8 T cells
Stain the cells (1:500 in FACS buffer, RT 30min) prior to cell fixation step
Prepare the dye fresh (with DMSO) to achieve optimal performance
Clean differentiation of live and dead cell populations.
