Appealing format (small box, small bottles, clear labels, sort of eco-friendly) and reliable good results. The yield could be improved: it is approx 50%, but since the elution volume is only 6 ul, the sample gets concentrated.
Purification of DNA after enzymatic reactions
PCR products or plasmid DNA
The DNA containing solution is mixed with a guanidine and isopropanol-based binding buffer, loaded into a column and washed with a Ethanol-based wash buffer. The last step is elution in elution buffer (10 mM Tris, 0.1 mM EDTA, pH 8.5 or slightly alkaline water)
This kit is great to concentrate your ligation reaction before transforming bacteria. Especially useful before electroporation to also remove salts
The kit is fast and easy to use. Very similar to competitor's "Q" kit. Unfortunately "Q" has never really improved the problem of large elution volumes.

This kit allows to elute in as little as 6 ul.
