I have used this mountant as the final step in preparing slides for imaging and it has worked very well. The DAPI stain is very clean and if stored properly, the slides are still good for imaging for long periods after staining.

ThIs is a very good mounting medium to preserve stained slides and also imparts the cellular nuclei with a DAPI stain.
One tip is to use only an amount required to cover the slide at room temperature and keep the slides in the dark on a flat surface for some time before attempting to seal. This will ensure that the mount ant does not seep out and smear the slides.
This mountant provides good DAPI staining and keeps slides in good condition for a long time.
