Product Name:

2200 tape station

Catalog Number:

G2964AA

We used a bioanalyzer to check our RNA prior to making sequencing libraries and to check our sequencing library size and concentration before submitting. The tape station is a huge improvement. The tapes come in sealed packs and are reusable if you do not use all of the lanes in one go. Additionally, you just have to mix your sample with the buffer and put it in the machine. The machine loads and runs the samples. However, there are sometimes still random errors where a tape fails, but if you re-run it everything works fine.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Application

Quantify nucleic acids and measure size

Protocol Overview

Mix RNA/DNA in buffer. Load samples and tape into machine. Run.

Tips

Make sure that your samples are roughly the right concentration for the tape you are running.

Results Summary

When it works, it works well. However, sometimes there are errors with a tape or sample, but if you re-run it everything is fine.
