In our lab we routinely perform molecular cloning to generate TCR constructs for lentiviral expression. In this process we use the Qiagen mini prep kit to isolate plasmid DNA from bacterial cultures. We then send these plasmids for sequencing to confirm the DNA sequence. We selected this product because of the straight forward protocol and short processing time. We have been using this kit for many years.
Isolation of plasmid DNA from bacterial cultures
Bacterial culture (3ml)
Bacterial culture is collected, lysed and cleared by centrifugation. Cleared lysate is applied to a column and centrifugated. The flow through is discarded and the column washed with was buffer. DNA is eluted wit ha small volume of elution buffer.
Follow the straightforward protocol
We get reliably good quality DNA and high yields.
