Blocking Agent

10% Donkey Serum at RT 1hr

Secondary Incubation

Results Summary

Staining for dendrites left very strong staining, but high background with lots of speckling. This allowed for good manual tracing of dendrites, but difficult for automated tracing due to background. Perhaps it would be possible to titrate the concentration down.

Summary

The Good

Strong dendrite signal

The Bad

High background

The Bottom Line

Works well if you are just looking to visualize dendrites or run manual analysis. High background prevented us from doing any automated analysis.
