Aim: The goal of this experiment is to measure the IFN-a production from C57BL/6 mouse bone marrow-derived macrophages infected with viruses. Materials: 50ul cell culture medium and ELISA kit (including IFN-a standard and all required solutions). Methods: follow the manufacture's protocol.Result: Figure A: standard curve using provided IFN-a standard. The Pearson Coefficient of Determination (R2) is 0.9997; Figure B: the IFN-a levels of test samples. Values were presented as mean plus/minus SD.Conclusion: The production of IFN-a from virus-infeced macrophages can be readily detected by this ELISA kit.
