Product Name:

BV-785 anti-mouse CD44

Catalog Number:

103059

CD44 is an activation/memory marker that gets upregulated on T cells and B cells. CD44 is an adhesion molecule involved in leukocyte attachment to and rolling on endothelial cells, homing to peripheral lymphoid organs and to the sites of inflammation, and leukocyte aggregation. I wanted to test T cell activation using this antibody. Perhaps the staining worked fine. The expression levels of CD44 were in a broad range, which is consistent with published literature.
