EZBlueTM Gel Staining Reagent
G1041-500ML
Aim of the experiment was to detect proteins in sample by SDS-PAGE. Our sample proteins (milk casein), 20 microlitre per well was loaded and electrophoresced in SDS-PAGE. Once the tracking dye, bromophenol blue dye reaches the anode, the current was turned off and gel was removed from the glass plates. The gel is stained with EZBlueTM Gel Staining Reagent for the detection of protein bands. The reason for selecting this product is its specificity towards protein, therefore it gives less background color and the time required for protein detection was reduced.
Protein bands detection after electrophoresis
Proteins separated by SDS-PAGE gel
SDS-PAGE was carried out till the bromophenol blue dye reaches the bottom of the gel. Gel was removed from the glass plates and stained with the EZBlueTM Gel Staining Reagent. The protein bands were detected immediately and background staining was also reduced. Removal of background staining requires less time than the conventional destaining solution.
No
Protein bands were stained with EZBlueTM Gel Staining Reagent and gave immediate staining and also there was less background staining
Sensitive reagent, Saves time and gives good results
Rapid estimation of protein bands in gel by using EZBlueTM Gel Staining Reagent
