Our group studies T cells in the blood of untreated chronic HIV+ individuals. We are constantly expanding and optimizing our T cell panels to measure various T cell subsets, activation, and inhibitory receptor phenotype. Occasionally we also study B lymphocytes, and HLA-DR-APCCy7 is a marker we've used to characterize both B cells and T cells. We chose HLA-DR-APCCy7 because it fit well into two of our pre-existing panels and it was reasonably priced.

Results Summary

2uL HLA-DR-APCCy7 worked great to detect HLA-DR on lymphocytes. As expected, the majority of B cells express HLA-DR as evidenced in the attached image. It also works well to detect activated T cells (not shown).
