I have been using this instrument for years now to measure the DNA and RNA amounts. Its easy, fast and requires very small volume as low as 1 ul so when it affording very little wastage of the precious sample.

Appropriate dilution of the nucleic acid in water or buffer blanked against the same solvent
Avoid bubbles on the machine tip otherwise error results
Measurement of as low as 1 ng of sample is possible and reliable in my experience.
Can also be used for cell cultures OD or protein determination
