It is better to know the titer before you do a transduction. P24 ELISA and RT-PCR methods take too long to tell you the results. Lenti-X™ GoStix is the answer. Using it, you will know the quality of your virus supernatant immediately. You just need 20ul virus solution and it only takes 5-10 minutes.

Take the supernatant from culture vessel, filter it through 0.45um filter, take 20ul of filtered solution and add to the window of the stick. Immediately add three drops of buffer (come with the kit), check the result after 5-10minutes.
All the supplies in the kit and the supernatant are to be at room tempreture .
If your supernatant contains high enough virus (>200kTU/ml), you will see two bands, one is control and the other is your test band. The stronger your test band the higher virus titer.
