The goal of this staining was to find out whether NSC34 cells express SNAP25 protein. We detect cleavage of SNAP-25 by clostridial neurotoxin and for this reason we wanted to find out whether NSC34 cells (motoneuron cell model) express sufficient amount of SNAP-25. It was advertised as good antibody which should work for IHC/ICC.

SNAP25 is detected in the plasma membrane of NSC34 cells. Thus this cell line can be used to study cleavage of SNAP25 by clostridial neurotoxins.
