The aim of this project is study the role of retinoic acid pathway metabolic enzymes in colon cancer. In this experiment, the expression of ALDH1A2 was tested in a normal colon cancer tissue specimen (pilot study). This antibody was previously used by a lab member.

Primary Incubation

1:250 dilution in blocking buffer; over night incubation at 4 deg Celsius

Blocking Agent

1x PBS + 1% BSA + 1% goat serum

Secondary Incubation

1:200 dilution (in 1xPBS + 1% BSA) of Goat-anti rabbit Alexa dye 594; 1 hour at r/t

Tertiary Incubation

DAPI was included in the last wash step
