The overall goal of this research was to understand protein targeting to flagellar membrane. The specific goals were to understand the requirements of protein modifications and calcium binding on flagellar targeting. This product was choose because it works in both immunofluorescence microscopy and western blot applications.

Our protein of interest was tagged with GFP. Using anti-GFP specific antibody we were able to detect a strong signal and our protein localized as expected. This antibody was also successfully used by our lab for Western Blot applications (data not shown).
