The overal goal of this research is to understand HIV transmission in more details. The specific goal of this experiment was to study the resident target cells of HIV and to see if there are changes in CCR5 expression upon infection.This specific clone was chosen as it is the only clone listed to work in Rhesus Macaque cells. The APC color was chosen cause it fit our flow panel well.
