Proteins isolated from biofluids using solid phase extraction. Trypsin digestion and LC-MS/MS.
Stay away from detergents
Very useful instrument as the machine is able to acquire MS and MS/MS data simultaneously. No loss of data while machine is analyzing fragment data. The machine has a linear ion trap for lower resolution spectrum and an Orbitrap for high resolution analysis.
