Product Name:

HotMaster Mix Taq DNA polymerase

Catalog Number:

2200310

DNA was purified and DNA template was amplified by using HotMaster Mix Taq DNA polymerase using specific primers for PEPCK (phosphoenol pyruvate carboxykinase) for fast PCR. Amplified product was run in agarose gel.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Application

Amplification of highly specific or complementary DNA template and detects low low copy number genes.

Starting Material

DNA isolated from liver cells

Protocol Overview

DNA was isolated from rat liver cells. DNA template was then amplified by using highly specific primers. The reaction mixture contains DNA template, primers, HotMaster Mix Taq DNA polymerase, HotMaster TaqBuffer and dNTPs. The PCR tube containing the reaction mixture was then kept in PCR machine and amplified by setting up of thermocycling conditions. Here no separate step for activation of DNA polymerase is required.

Tips

Tips: It should be stored at -20°C

Results Summary

The amplified DNA product was run on the agarose gel and very sharp band was observed which indicated no non-specific amplification.
