Product Name:

Human IL-33 Antibody

Catalog Number:

AF3625

The aim of the study was to test the role of specific growth factor on IL-33 expression in human smooth muscle cell. Proteins from each treatment were extracted and resolved in SDS PAGE. Resolved proteins were western transferred in nitrocellulose membrane and immunoblotted with IL-33 antibody.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Applications

Western Blot

Sample

Human smooth muscle cell extract

Primary Incubation

Dilution (1:1000) in 5% skimmed milk prepared in TBST, overnight incubation at 4 degree Celsius

Blocking Agent

5% skimmed milk prepared in TBST

Secondary Incubation

Dilution (1:5000) in 5% skimmed milk prepared in TBST, 1hr at RT

Tertiary Incubation

None

Detection

Enhanced chemiluminiscent detection in X-Ray film

Results Summary

Excellent bright band of IL-33 was observed at around 30 kDa. There was no non-specific band observed with this antibody. However, there was positive time dependent effect of growth factor on IL-33 expression.
