The aim of the study was to test the time course effect of specific growth factor on cyclin D1 study state levels in human smooth muscle cells. Cell line grown in complete media was growth arrested, treated with growth factor, proteins were resolved and immunodetected for Cyclin D1 levels using its specific antibody obtained from Cell Signaling Technology. Cell Signaling's antibody was selected because it can detect endogenous levels of Cyclin D1 in non-transfected cells.

In the present study, antibody from cell Signaling technology was used for immuno detection. This antibody has showed excellent specificity towards Cyclin D1 in human cell. Although, no response of growth factor treatment on Cyclin D1 study state levels were observed.
