A mouse cell line was tested for time dependent effect of growth factor on steady state level of Cdc42 proteins. Mouse cells were growth arrested for 24 hrs, and treated with growth factor for specific time points. Treated and control cells were lysed in RIPA buffer, proteins were extracted, estimated and resolved in 10% SDS-PAGE. Resolved proteins were western transferred and immunoblotted with anti- Cdc42 antibody. Selection of Santa Cruz Biotechnology antibody was based on quality of picture presented in antibody flyer.

Although, anti-Cdc42 antibody from SantaCruz biotech has detected a specific band of ASC at nearly 23 kDa, a non specific bright band was also observed. There was no effect of treatment on study state levels of Cdc42.
