Results Summary

I have previously used mouse-specific antibodies in Peromyscus cells and have had some success. Therefore, I attempted to use this antibody to detect MAVS expression in Peromyscus cells. I used dilutions of 1:500 and 1:1000 and tested various ECL reagents. Overall, this antibody worked fairly well in the mouse control cells but i did not see any bands in the Peromyscus cells suggesting that the antibody did not detect MAVS in these cells. I was disappointed because I had hoped to get results using this antibody.
