Our lab works with kinases involved in kidney cancer, and STAT1 has come up several times in our research. We always go to Cell Signaling first for our antibodies because of their reputation and customer service, so we tried this antibody out first on 786-0 cell lysates.

1:5000 dilution in 5% Milk in TBS-T for 1 hour at RT

This antibody worked out great for us. It picks up STAT1 pretty cleanly, even at low protein or expression levels. We ended up not needing to optimize our procedures at all to get good results with this antibody.

Cell Signaling antibodies are almost always expensive, but they're worth it, and that's why we always try out their antibodies first. This STAT1 antibody works out great and I highly recommend it.
