This works well to detect cytokines in lung homogenate (murine samples).

Mice were infected with M. tuberculosis for 3 weeks. Lungs were collected and homogenized in 5mL PBS-T. 1mL of homogenate was aliquoted and spun down at max speed, and the supernatant was filtered through a 0.2um PVDF filter. Sample was diluted in the appropriate buffer as per product guidelines
May need to try several dilutions to get your sample within the standard curve.
