Flow cytometry with multiple antibodies require compensation to determine positive and negative population. This compensation kit will help to separate the positive and negative population during flow cytometric analysis involving multiple antibodies.

BD™ CompBeads Anti-Rat and Anti- Hamster Ig, κ
1. Label the number of tubes required for the assay, one for each antibody to be used in the assay and one tube for unstained control. 2. Add 2 drops of the positive beads and 2 drops of the negative beads. 3. Spin down the tubes and resuspend in 50ul of FACS buffer. 4. To this 50ul, add only 0.5ul of the specific antibody you wish to compensate in the assay. 5. Leave one tube as unstained control. 6. Leave for at least 15 mins at dark. 7. Wash the tube and calculate compensation using these beads.
Knowledege of flow cytometry required
Very accurate compensation using these compensation beads, which eliminated the fluorescence spillover of fluorochrome-conjugated antibodies.
