This is a good imaging system as it has both UV and bright light. So, one can take many different images from DNA gels to coomassie stain gels.

Place sample into the chamber with the appropriate light source selected i.e. UV or bright light. Use the image acquisition software to take your image.
Clean chamber after use
System is used a lot to take UV images of DNA gels but brightfield also looks good as well. Good system for taking images.
