Nightmare Experience With Partec Cube 6 Flow Cytometer

We initially purchased a flow cytometer in 2012 and from the day of installation, the intensity of the red laser was extremely poor. After so many complaints finally, the company accepted that the red laser was faulty since the delivery (even though a part was replaced by them 3 months after installation) and completely replaced the unit in 2014. This new unit worked without any problem the whole of last year. However, we could not use the flow cytometer until June this year because of the problems of alignment of the red laser which we noticed. Once this was brought to the attention of Sysmex, they sent a team here and they aligned it perfectly and we used this without any problem for 2 weeks. Then suddenly, overnight, the red laser completely stopped working in June due to the complete non-functioning of the red laser. Although we made the complaint on June 2015, until this date (December 2015), no service support whatsoever has been provided by either partec and sysmex. They have handed over the servicing to a local company, who had never heard what a flow cytometer is. After paying so much for the flow cytometer, we are still unable to use it. I will not recommend partec to anyone due to the following reasons: 1. No application support whatsoever was given for 2 years 2. We had to complain so many times until partec accepted that the red laser was faulty 3. We have not been able to do any work for the whole of this year (excluding the 2 weeks which the unit did work) because the flow cytometer is not working 4. It takes an unacceptable time to attend to our problems and the fact that we haven't been able to use our flow cytometer for 8 months has very much affected our research.
