We study different methods of activation and inhibition of B cells. We use a variety of anti-B220 clones and colors in our flow cytometry panels. This anti-B220 antibody gives consistent results, strongly labeling mouse splenic B cells.
Flow Cytometry
Live murine splenocytes, red blood cells lysed
1:100 dilution of APC/Cy7 anti-mouse B220. Incubate on ice 20 minutes.

In ungated total mouse splenocytes, the B cells stain positively for surface B220, forming a distinct population from the other splenocytes.

Reliable results, easy to distinguish B220+ from B220- cells.
No drawbacks observed.
