This BCA protein assay kit is a detergent-compatible formulation based on bicinchoninic acid for the colorimetric detection and quantification of total protein. The working detection range is from 20 to 2000pg/ml. This is a easy to use kit and works well.

Protocol Overview

For the micro plate procedure, add 10ul of unknown sample into micro plate wells, add in 200ul of WR solution to each well and mix well. Cover plate and incubate at 37C for 30min, then cool plate to room temperature. Read the plate at 562nm on a plate reader.

Tips

If sample volume is limited, micro plate procedure is a good option. It only needs 10ul of sample volume.
