For T cell inducing vaccines, their immunogenicity is investigated following immunisation. PBMCs isolated from mice post-immunisation are investigated for their presence of antigen specific T cells. This CD8a+ antibody allows the distinction and subsequent measurement of number and specificity of CD8+ T cells in vaccinated mice.

0.5 ul Antibody per 2x 10^6 cells, diluted in MACS buffer in final volume of 50ul.
MACS buffer. Incubated for 30 mins at 4C in dark.
