We used to use Qiagen HiSpeed Plasmid Midi Kit for Plasmid purification. It took a long time for the whole process. Zymoreseach's ZymoPure kit really save us a lot of time and energy for this tedious process. It always give us high yield and quality DNA.
Plasmid DNA isolation
50mL DH5a bacteria
1. Centrifuge to precipitate bacteria. 2. Simply follow the instructions of the Kit: lysis, neutralization and pass column. 3. After washing, elute Plasmid DNA.
Using a vacuum will save a lot of time when processing many samples together
I always get very good yields of plasmid DNA and purity with this kit. The 260/280 is higher than 1.80
I really like the colored buffer system, which makes it easy to hand each step.
