I use this kit for developing blots by ECL. It's very convenient to use, gives no background, and is highly sensitive. I tried some other brands for ECL substrates such as Amersham, but they were not up to the mark in performance in terms of specifciity and sensitivity. This one is my favorite.

Membrane probed with specific antibodies
We have two bottles inside each kit. Mix Detection Reagents 1 and 2 at a 1:1 ratio and add it to the blot. Incubate blot for 1 minute and remove excess of the reagent. Develop the blot by exposing. to X-Ray films
