PERCP-Cy5.5 is not the best channel, but was the only one available in my staining panel. So, I decided to use it for a lineage marker like anti-CD3. Usually, the expression is high enough to get a bright 2-3 log high signal. However, the signal with this antibody was relatively low; to the point where some intermediate cells could not be distinguished as either positives or negatives.

Results Summary

There is a positive population; however, the fluorescence was quite low. Not recommended for sorting type applications. Some folks suggested using intra-cellular staining to brighten the signal.
