Product Name:

CELLview™ Cell Culture Dishes, Glass Bottom, Sterile

Catalog Number:

I tried this product mainly because I got a piece of sample from a vendor. It turned out to be surprisingly good for fulfilling my requirement. Previously, I always used a piece of coverslip, put it into a 12-well culture plates and grow the cells. I had to take out the coverslip for microscopy, because the thick plastic layer of 12-well plates. This product totally saved me time for this purpose. In addition, it worked perfectly fine as a coverslip, my cells look similar to what I see with a piece of real coverslip. However, since this is a new product, it has many defects such as leaking issues. Since it is a piece of coverslip inside plastic petri dish, it is hard to seal for sure, 2 out of 40 I had leaked. They are also expensive at 5 dollars a piece. High volume of culture media is required.
