This water is used for nuclease free applications such as eluting RNA from a purification column. After using this product several times I have not had any issues in applications such as PCR, or cDNA synthesis. This is a good source for DEPC water if you do not want to make it yourself.

Using nuclease free tips, add DEPC treated water to a purification column and/or PCR tube and then move on to the next step of the protocol.
Do not contaminate DEPC water with nucleases
Have not detected significant RNA or DNA degradation while using this water.
