I tried this antibody in Western Blot studies using mouse embryonic fibroblast cells and observed that it poorly detects Dnmt1 protein at endogenous levels in these cells. However, It detected Dnmt1 easily in HEK293T cells.

This antibody easily detected Dnmt1 in HEK293T cells but not in MEFs. Detection of Dnmt1 in NIH3T3 cells was also difficult.
It can detect endogenous Dnmt1 if the endogenous level is high
Cannot detect low levels of Dnmt1
I will use this antibody for human cells but not in mouse cells
