This cocktail is used to inhibit phosphatases in protein lysates being assessed for phospho-proteins by western blotting. Easy to dissolve tablets make it easy to make the cocktail solution and it is effective in preserving phosphorylation of proteins.

Dissolve tablet in water. Add solution to protein lysis buffer and lyse cells.
Make sure tablet is completely dissolved before using the solution
Western blots using lysates with this phosphatase cocktail that were probed for phosphorylated proteins show phosphorylated protein signal suggesting phosphatase activity is inhibited.
