Slowfade gold antifade mountant with DAPI

We study human sinus disease, and in this particular study we were looking at tight junction histology with immunofluorescence. The slow fade media has always been reliable, and also has the benefit of combining the mounting step with DAPI counter stain, which will save you time.

Protocol Overview

Place 1-2 drops of mounting media on the stained slide, place coverslip, force out air bubbles, seal with nail polish, and store at 4 degrees in the dark.

Take it out to thaw during your last washes so you don't have to wait

Results Summary

This mounting media does a great job of preserving your immunofluorescent staining, I have imaged slides weeks after staining.
