This cooler is used to keep samples and reagents like restriction enzymes cool on a benchtop without the need of large ice buckets. This cooler keeps samples very cool long enough for most scientific applications such as a restriction digest.

Put the cooler in the freezer. Once cold, put the tubes you want to stay cold inside the tube holders and then place on benchtop and perform experiment.
Make sure to cool the cooler before putting tubes in
The samples appeared cool despite tens of minutes on the benchtop at room temperature.
