This is a good source of the BmtI restriction enzyme. I use this product when doing diagnostic restriction digests or in molecular cloning when I need to cut out an insert.
Restriction Digest
Plasmid DNA
Add restriction enzyme to mixture of correct NEBuffer with plasmid DNA and incubate at 37 celcius for a sufficient amount of time to digest all plasmid DNA.
Use the correct NEBuffer
The BmtI enzyme worked well cutting the vector 1 time (expected single cutter) and excised an insert in the vector that was flanked by BmtI and XbaI sites.
