We used the holder for mouse hydrodynamic tail injection. The design is very convenient for mouse fixation because it has 3 stickers to fix onto the bench, it's moved from the bench with some buttons, and it only takes several seconds to fix the mice. I also usually used to fix the mice for normal tail vein injection. Compared to doing injection after mice were anesthetized, it took a shorter amount of time and the mice wouldn't die after hydrodynamic tail vein injection as they are kept alive and awake during the operation. Meanwhile, the hold is not high, so it's better than others with a higher foundation base.

First, take out the plug, then put the handle on the bench. The handle base will stick to the bench very firmly, then put the mice on by grasping the tail, fixing the mice with plug, and please keep the mouse outside and upside to make it breath easily. After finishing the injection, the locks automatically open when handle is released. The holder is the fastest restrainer and very useful for intravenous injections in small animals.
Just clean it with water, no ethanol.
It's a very useful tool for mouse experiments.

The holder could be used for mice from 15-35g weight. If the mice are bigger than 35g, it would be better to buy the standard or large size handle.
