I use this product when running protein gels. I like this product because it is already mixed so I just have to add the solution to the gel and run it. The bands also appear very nicely when transferred to PVDF, which makes determining band sizes easier downstream.

Load 8-10 ul of the protein standards onto gel and run
Make sure to add enough to be able to easily see
The protein bands come out very easy to see both on the gel and on the Western blot membrane after transfer.
