I use this antibody for labeling Kupffer cells from murine livers. On a BD LSRII, BD Aria IIu, or a BD Canto II, I see my cell population shift to the 4th decade with minimal background when using the antibody at a 1:200 dilution staining 10-20 million cells per ml. I haven't used this antibody on cells from other tissues so I can't comment on how clean the background is elsewhere.

Great results, far exceeding my expectations for F4/80 spectra that I'm used to seeing. I don't know if the liver is just better for visualizing F4/80, or if BV421 dyes have less background.
