We do a lot of ELISA in our lab. One very tedious part of ELISA is washing the plate. Not only does it takes a lot time, it also wastes a lot of tips. With this device, you can save a lot of time. More importantly, it will provides better consistency.

Protocol Overview

1. Set up your own wash method. The easy way is to copy a saved method, and edit based on that. Usually you need to change the number of wash cycles and volume of buffer needed for each well. Also, depending on the type of 96 well plate, adjust the height of needle that would be necessary. 2. Place the plate on the holder and select the starting strip and number of the strips. Then hit start, simple as that.

Tips

Be careful not to overfill the waste bottle. Otherwise, fluid will be sucked into the machine.
