My research explores EMP2 expression in cancer cell lines. There are only a couple of EMP2 antibodies available. In my Western blotting, this one works the best.
Western Blot
EMP2 orverexpressed NIH3T3 cell total lysates
1:500, overnight at 4C in blocking buffer
2% cold fish geletin in 1x TBS buffer
1:5000 anti Rabbit IgG HRP in blocking buffer room temp for 1 hour

I was unable to find a monoclonal EMP2 antibody to work for Western blot with human samples. This one is rabbit polyclonal, and it works fine in picking up the right band in overexpressed EMP2 cell lysate. The correct band has been confirmed via blotting with tag blot.

Easy to work with, shows the band at correct molecular weight.
The background is quite clear, not much unspecific banding.
