We checked neural protein expression using this protein ladder as a marker for proteins of various molecular weights. It is prestained and has multicoloured peptides which makes it easy to identify the band of the protein of interest.

Cell lysate
To a 1.5 mm gel with 15 well combs (8% gel) add 4μl of protein ladder. Volume of protein ladder needs to be standardised as per your need for colour intensity of the protein ladder. Bands of the protein ladder resolve as per the % of SDS-PAGE gel
Store in -20 C, aliquot for regular use.
The proteins of 170-35kda are resolved in 8% gel, using the protein ladder for reference bands.
