I use these calipers for measuring tumors on mice. Although they have a manual scale as well, the digital screen offers accurate measurements up to 2 decimal places. The instrument is well-calibrated and lasts a long time on the batteries installed.
Measuring the size of tumors on mice
Mouse tissue
Calibrate the calipers once a month or before the first use. Measure the two axes (length and breadth) of tumors and multiply to get the tumor area. Switch off when done.
Focus on the two perpendicular axes
Very accurate results and measurements are observed up to two decimal places.
